REPLACE THE FOAM EARPADS ON YOUR LOGITECH PREMIUM NOTEBOOK HEADSET

Based on searches, customer inquiries and BLOG threads, it appears that it is very hard to find replacement pads and cushions for the Logitech Premium Notebook Headset, Model A-0445A and Logitech H555 Headsets. These headsets have a very thin foam covering over a rhomboid shaped earpiece. The foam begins to disintegrate and crumble over time, and it seems that there are no designated earpads or cushions made specifically to fit the Logitech headsets, so customers often must search high and low until they stumble upon our web site.

We are happy to report that Scan Sound has two possible solutions that will enable users to restore the foam over their Logitech Premium Notebook Headset and Logitech Premium Laptop Headset earpieces.

- One solution involves removal of the thin foam on the headset, and replacing it with our F-30-4 50mm size foam earpad.

- Another option would be to upgrade the headset with a leatherette style cushion. This requires the removal of the foam covering. The foam is then replaced with a Leatherette style Ear Pad Cushion. The Leatherette Style cushions provide headset users with improved comfort, making a nice improvement over the original foam on the headset.

The Scan Sound 50mm foam earpads and 50mm size Leatherette Style Ear Pad Cushions will fit onto the Logitech Premium Notebook Headset and Logitech Premium Laptop Headset. The pictures below show the available replacements and give you an idea what the headphone earpieces look like after installing these very comfortable ear pad cushions. The 55mm size leatherette cushions (SKU# EMT56) work best for the Logitech H555 headphones based on feedback from our customers.

Our part number F-30-4 consists of a bag containing 4 each of the 50mm size foam earpads. These 50mm foam earpads will fit onto the Logitech Premium Wireless Notebook Headphones.

  • Remove the existing foam earpad and replace it with a leatherette cushion

The Leatherette ear cushions are circular, but they will fit the rhomboid-shaped earpiece on the Logitech Premium Notebook Headset

  • Remove the old material on your earpiece and discard any bits of the crumbling foam
  • Using your fingers, pull the back edge around the edges of the earpiece and work it around until you have completely surrounded the earpiece, then adjust it so it is evenly positioned all the way around your earpiece
  • The EMT56 55mm leatherette cushion will fit the Logitech Premium Notebook Headset
  • Our HIL53 50mm leatherette cushions will also fit, however they might be tight and a bit harder to put on the earpiece

It is very easy to pull the outer part of the earpiece covering so that it fits around the rounded edges of the Logitech Premium Notebook Headset rhomboid shaped earpiece. You begin by using your finger nail to hold one part in place as you work the rest of the covering around the edges. The whole procedure takes just a couple minutes, and no special tools or other materials are needed.

It is very easy for anyone to install the new leatherette style cushions in place around the earpieces of their own Premium Laptop Headset. The soft contoured ear pieces will easily accommodate either of our 50mm size foam earpads or leatherette cushions.

It is apparent from many of the online reviews that the Premium Notebook Headset was a wonderful headset, however many found it to be uncomfortable when wearing the headset for long periods. Our leatherette style cushions will likely provide users with much greater comfort, and this is simply due to the addition of the extra cushion provided by the replacement leatherette style headset cushions.
