Replacement 80mm Sized Leatherette Cushions for Headphones and Headsets

For Round earpieces measure the size of your earpiece from edge to edge to determine the headphone diameter

The 80mm Leatherette Circular Ear Cushions are approximately 80mm (3 ⅛ inches) across the diameter of the Cushion. They will fit onto an earpiece that is smaller than the 80mm cushion, between 70mm and 79mm (2 ¾ and 3 1/16 inches). For accuracy, we recommend that you measure your earpiece size (not the old cushions).

For Oval Shape Cushions, follow the instructions below to determine the average diameter by measuring the earpiece circumference:

  1. Remove the existing cushion from your headphone or headset, so you can see the part of the earpiece that your cushion will wrap around.
  2. Cut a thin strip of paper and wrap it around the outer edge of your earpiece, marking the paper at the point where it wraps around and meets the other end.
  3. Measure the length of that paper strip; That will be the circumference.
  4. Divide the circumference by 3.14 (known as "PI". So if the strip of paper measured 9 inches, for example you divide 9 by 3.14 and the result will be 2.866 inches. That is the decimal equivalent to about 2 ⅞ inches; That is the diameter. Use the diameter to decide which cushion will fit onto your earpiece.

The 80mm Round Leatherette Cushions will fit onto an earpiece that is between 2 ¾ inches and 3 1/16 inches in diameter (or between 70mm and 79mm if you measured using a millimeter ruler).

Teardrop-Shaped 80mm Leatherette Cushions

The 80mm Teardrop-Shaped Leatherette Headphone Ear Cushions that are typically found on the wireless headphones used with vehicle DVD entertainment systems. They are also used in Recreational Vehicles, SUV's, Trucks and even Private Jet Airplanes with DVD player entertainment systems that are built-into the vehicles. Those wireless headphones all use a common style of headphones that have an egg shaped or teardrop shaped earpiece that is round at the top and come to a point at the bottom kind of heart shaped. The earpieces are usually around 2 ½ to 2 5/8 inches wide by 3 ¼ inches from top-to-bottom. That's the equivalent of 63mm wide to 83mm from top-to-bottom.
