Re-Usable Cotton Fabric Covers for Headphones and Headsets

Headset users who have worn or deteriorating cushions and pads on their existing headphones or headsets may find that it is easier to place a set of stretchable fabric covers over their earpieces, instead of trying to size and replace the original earpads and cushions. The fabric headphone cover material when relaxed is about 3-inches in diameter and it will expand to approximately 4.75 inches when fully stretched. The cotton material has a nice comfortable fit.

Call-center workers should have several pairs of their own fabric headphone covers, recycling them regularly each time they go into work, especially if they must use a shared headset. It is recommended that you always keep fresh clean covers ready on hand in plastic bags, so they are always ready to install. When removing the covers from the headset, it is best to use a disinfectant wipe or spray to clean the earpiece and make sure that it is completely dry before installing a clean set of fabric covers. Place the removed fabric covers into the plastic bag and take the used cover home for gentle cycle cleaning in your washing machine. Regularly remove the covers and install a fresh clean pair to ensure that your headset is always clean, fresh and germ free.
